A MECHANICAL ENGINEERING STUDENTS ASSOCIATION (MESAC) was established to formulate the activities within the department such that it brings out the hidden talents of the students. The activities of the Department are as follows: industrial visits, guest lectures, in – plant trainings, symposia, workshops.

SOCIETY of AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERS

To bring out the hidden talents of young budding mechanical engineers and to enable the Mechanical Engineering students to fabricate working models and to do innovative live projects, the Department started CEREBRO – SAE club. This club enables students to learn and share the recent trends, advancements and development in the mechanical engineering field.
