Activities

  • Group Learning The students are clubbed under various syndicates which enables them to have a free exchange of ideas. This encourages them to perform group discussions, case studies, projects, seminars and self – study to develop their skills. Personality Enhancement Programme (PEP) is conducted for developing the students’ personality and to improve communication skills.
  • Guest Lecture Guest Lectures are being arranged periodically to enable the students to gather valuable nuggets of information from leaders of business and industry. This helps the budding managers to have an insight into the challenges and dynamics in the corporate sector.
  • Industrial Visit The Department helps the students to provide a practical exposure and orientation to the learning process by organizing a number of industrial visits to various industries.
  • ET Club The Department of Management Science started the ET (Economic Times) Club with the prime objective to hone the students with competence, versatility, problem solving ability and strategic perspective essential to the leaders of business. The ET CLUB helps the students to update the business information by providing the Economic Times papers on a daily basis. It also provides seminars, paper presentations, group discussions, guest lectures, quiz and workshops for the development of the students.
  • Corporate Relation and Placement The Placement cell coordinated by the faculty and the management is bringing together corporate luminaries and the student community in stimulating mutually beneficial interaction for achieving 100% placement.
