PRINCIPAL

Dr. T. Ashokkumar obtained his B.Sc, (Mathematics) from Madras University and M.A (Public Administration) from Madurai Kamaraj University. He passed his Diploma in Automobile Engineering from the Board of Technical Education of Tamil Nadu. He completed his B.E (Mechanical and Production Engineering) from Annamalai University. He obtained his M.E from the College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University and completed his Ph.D from the Madras Institute of Technology, Anna University (Chromepet Campus) on Nanomaterials. He has also completed one year of teaching methodology training from Central Training Institute, Guindy.

He is a life member in the Institution of Engineers (India). His areas of interests are nanomaterials, automotive engines, engineering mechanics and finite element analysis, production technology and mechanics of machine.

He has more than twenty three years of teaching and training experience which comprises of Technical Institutes, Centre of Excellence in Automobile Sector (Department of Employment and Training, Government of Tamil Nadu) and various Anna University affiliated engineering colleges.

During his illustrious career, he has published several articles in National and International Journals and presented papers in National and International Conferences including the International Conference on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICONN 2010) in Sydney, Australia. He wrote many Automobile related books which were published by the Central Instructional Media Institute (CIMI) of Government of India. One of his Tamil Technical articles was published in Journal of Modern Science by Tamil Nadu State Council for Higher Education. On the basis of community service in Automobile area, he is now writing a series of articles entitled You too can become an Automobile expert in the weekly newspaper.
